Live after-hours online event added for Google I/O 2014 attendees

SAN FRANCISCO – June 24, 2014 – On the heels of the latest release of Appmethod, the Embarcadero team is hosting webinars on Wednesday, June 25 for developers that want the most efficient and productive way to create apps for Android, iOS, Windows, OS X and wearables like Google Glass. With three time windows to choose from, including an added after-hours event, the Appmethod webinar will be of keen interest for Google I/O attendees as it will highlight the newest features of Appmethod that make it the most productive Android development tool, including the Free subscription plan with C++ for Android; using the same C++ source code for all device platforms; pre-built BaaS components; Enterprise Mobility Services; and, new partner integrations including Parse, Kinvey, SecureAuth and App42.

Appmethod is the fastest development environment and component based application framework for multi-device app development. Developers that attend the webinar will walk away with clear insights into why a multi-device strategy is critical, and why C++ is a great choice. They will experience how fast and easy it is to create natively compiled applications for all major platforms with one effort and a single, common source codebase, including the steps to create an Android and iOS app with C++ in under a minute.

The webinar will also showcase the steps to creating modern, mobile app clients, and will feature the use of C++11 code; an IDE walkthrough and debug demo; using REST to integrate web services; easily working with BaaS providers; creating a middleware server to access SQL data; and exposing custom APIs for mobile clients.

When: Wednesday, June 25, 2014 | 8:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 5:30 p.m. (PDT)
Format: Developers can choose one of three time slots to attend the hour-long live webinar and demonstration. Participants will be able to submit questions during the webinar.
Presenters: John (JT) Thomas, Director of Application Development Products
Sarina DuPont, Senior Product Manager, Appmethod
