First in Four-Part Series Looks at Making a Case for Data Governance
SAN FRANCISCO — July 18, 2013 — Embarcadero Technologies announced today it is hosting an online event titled, "Make Your Case for Data Governance." This event is the first in a four-part series hosted by Kelle O'Neal around creating a data governance roadmap. The series, which will run through September, will examine topics and tips around data governance implementation.
What:
Data means different things to different people. Getting buy-in from all required stakeholders also poses a larger challenge. Many data mangers are involved in various aspects of managing systems and processes that support corporate compliance and data utilization. In this session, data management expert Kelle O'Neal will examine how to effectively make a case for data governance.
This webinar examines how to quantify the benefit of data governance, presents best practices to establish the scope of implementing a program and helps define a business case for data governance within the enterprise by including several case studies as examples.
