SAN FRANCISCO – November 24, 2014 – Embarcadero Technologies will kick off the USA leg of its RAD Studio World Tour on December 2nd, 2014 with the first of 10 scheduled U.S. stops. The RAD Studio World Tour includes over 100 events globally with over 3,500 developers expected to participate. The tour will provide tips for modernizing VCL applications and extending them to mobile and connected solutions.
What:
|
RAD Studio World Tour RAD Studio XE7 is the single biggest jump forward for 32-bit and 64-bit VCL and FireMonkey applications. These lunch-and-learn events will explain how to use the new RAD Studio XE7 technologies to modernize and extend application development to create connect solutions. Attendees will qualify for an exclusive product discount and a chance to win prizes including an Android tablet. Topics include:
- Parallel Programming Library - Easy to integrate into existing code, the new Parallel Programming Library in XE7 makes it simple to improve the performance and usability of old and new code alike.
- Enterprise Mobility Services (EMS) - EMS empowers developers to act in an informed manner around a product life cycle by providing key information about software and API usage, allowing the developer to decide what gets worked on, deprecated, expanded and when.
- Components for Windows and the VCL - RAD Studio XE6 introduced new ways to improve the user experience of applications through new components for working with the Taskbar. With RAD Studio XE7 there are even more new components specifically for Windows and the VCL.
- Visual Live Bindings - Visual live bindings can open up a world of non-data aware control to become data aware, expanding current component usage capabilities dramatically.
